Entirely cooked
CONVENTIONAL OVEN
Preheat oven to 375°F. Remove frozen duck leg from packaging and place in baking dish. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, depending on size. Finish by browning under broiler for 2 to 3 minutes.
BARBECUE
Thaw duck confit in packaging for 20 to 25 minutes in warm water.
Preheat BBQ to medium. Remove duck confit from packaging and sear for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
For larger quantities, add a few minutes to cooking time.
Serve with sauce of your choice or remove meat from bone and serve warm on a bed of lettuce with balsamic vinaigrette. Can be also eaten cold.
For maximum flavour, we recommend warming dinner plates before serving.
