CONVENTIONAL OVEN
Preheat oven to 350°F. Thaw duck breast in packaging for 24 hours in the
refrigerator or for 35 to 40 minutes in warm water. If vacuum seal is
broken, thaw in refrigerator only. Sear fat-side down in skillet over
medium-high heat for 3 minutes. Flip and sear for 2 minutes.
IMPORTANT
For best results, serve medium-rare.
For larger quantities, add a few minutes to the cooking time.
SAUCE
Remove frozen sauce from packaging and place in same skillet used to
prepare duck breast. Heat over medium heat until defrosted. Bring to a boil
and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Add sauce to plate before placing the duck breast on it, either whole or
sliced and fanned out for serving (recommended).
